Rembrandt is known as the Master of Light, if you were an artist, what would you be known as a Master of and why?

Welcome to the Memorial Middle School 8th Grade Humanities Blog! Humanities is a one semester course for eighth grade students that explores various aspects of the fine arts. Students will study visual, and musical arts. Primary focus is given to those masters who have become known as the great artists and composers withstanding the test of time. These master artists are known as legends in their fields. The key to success in this course is to have an open mind to experiencing the arts.
I would be Brooke, Master of nonliving objects. I would like to master of nonliving objects because, I can not draw people and am really good at drawing fruits,vegetables,scenery, and everything else except drawing people. I have been working for years to master this skill. ;)

ReplyDeleteI would be Alexis, master of vibrant coloring! I definitely do not possess any drawing talents, but coloring with random unique shades is my forte. Over the years I have gone through multiple coloring books, incorporating the bright lime greens, hot pinks, and deep blues. Even though the colors I utilize in my pictures are not reality; they are create a more enjoyable atmosphere to draw in.(:
ReplyDeleteI would be Mariya, the master of drawing-circles-and-a-bunch-of-other-stuff-that-doesn't-look-like-something-you-throw-up. If I were a master then I would already be good at drawing, so I wouldn't have to learn. I would have to spend a bunch of time on art if I want it to at least be close to being good.
ReplyDeleteI would be Brady, the master of drawing people. I like to draw but my tanlets arent really that good i draw the same thing everytime. I would just usally one a two colors to shade in the body and the cloths.

I think I, Ben-Jammin, would be the master of creativity! My imagination is as vast as the universe and knows no bounds when expressed through drawing. Yes, the drawings may not be superb, but they're always unique! Heed my warning though. Not all eyes can be prepared for the mass amount of hysteria that is present in my drawings. Also, all sense of logic and understanding about the gap between fantasy and reality will be broken. So just a word of caution. Don't say I didn't warn you.
ReplyDeleteI would be Nathan, the master of doodling. I am very skilled at drawing random creations. However, I am not very skilled at drawing a cornicopia of fruit and what not. I am the master of drawing to create.
ReplyDeleteI would be Levi, the master of painting. I would be the master of painting because, I like painting pictures of houses. The other things I would paint is pictures of people. The other things I would paint is trucks and motorcycles.
ReplyDeleteI would be Zachary, master of the comic strips. Yeah, I know that their not a great work of art, but that's about the best I could make. I'm not a great artist, but I can make some funny jokes, so that could make up for my lack of artistic ability.:)

Mostly because i stink at drawing with any other utencils. when i was a a kid, grandma and i, would stay up till midnight coloring.My goal was to color better then her (but going out of the lines never did help). And that is why i would be Mason the Master of Crayons!
ReplyDeleteI would be the master of drawing stars. I would be the master of that because i doodle stars all of the time. I also love watching stars in the pitch black dark. I am the master of drwing stars because i do it more than everybody else.

Although I don't have the greatest amount of creativity, it's essential for an artist to have.(although being decent at drawing is good also) I would like to be known as the master of creativity because nobody would be expecting what's coming next.
ReplyDeleteI would be the master of sleeping. I love to sleep and that is almost all I do. I have slept for over 14 hours before. Also, there is not much else I am good at other than sleeping.

If I could be the master of anything I would be the master of drawing inatimate objects. I can not draw people or animals but I can draw non moving objects. I would like to be able to be the best at drawing inatimate objects!
ReplyDeleteIf I could be ther master of anything it would be straight lines and boxy objects. im terrible at drawing a lot of things, but can always draw an almost perfectly straight line.
ReplyDeleteI would be know as the master of color. I love to use color when drawing. I love trying to see what color you can put in a shape to give it a diffrent meaning. I love seeing verious colors in a painting or picture. The color gives it more feeling.

ReplyDeleteI Katlynn would be master of drawing perfect circles! I can almost always draw good circles. I love drawing smiley faces that I got good at drawing circles. That's just anything that I can draw...along with about any other shape.

If i was a artist i would be the master of using letters. I love drawing them because they're easy and big. And i can draw them pretty goood.

ReplyDeleteIf i was a master of light I would be a master of stick figures of some sort. I think I would be a master of stick figures because Rembrandt has his artistic ways and i have mine. I would draw with colored pencils not paint because i use drawing utensils . i would paint but i dont like to wait for paint to dry so yeah i would considermyself as a master of stick figures.
